At The Art Department, birthday parties are all about fun, creativity, and zero stress for parents. Kids get to dive into hands-on projects designed for pure joy (and a little bit of magic), while we handle the mess, materials, and guidance. You bring the cake — we’ll bring the spark.

Pick a welcome craft, choose your main project, invite your friends, and don’t forget the snacks & cake! Parties are $100 + $15-18 per maker.

We’ll handle the setup, supplies, and the clean-up (arguably the best part).

- Classroom seats up to 16 makers (limited space for extra guests)

Pricing:
- Base party fee: $100
- Projects: $15–18 per maker
- Pay a 50% deposit to reserve your spot, we'll tally up your total on the day of your event (who's coming? who knows! right?!) and just pay the balance then.
Team Building & Grown Up Art Parties |
Pick your project (Paint your Partner, Printed Tote Bags, Mixed Media Art, Crappy Crafts, Mosaics)- all projects, except Mosaics, last about 2 hours and cost $20/participant (in addition to the base party charge of $100). Mosaics project is $30/person and takes about 3 hours to complete. If you have an idea for a project that you don't see on the list, please reach out to us! We are always open to new ideas and we offer lots of classes and special holiday/themed projects that can be adapted to your event.
Collaborative Canvas Mural Session |
Bring your group (up to 8 people) to The Art Department for a custom collaborative canvas experience! Your Collaborative Art Session is a 90 minute private art session of collaborative painting, creating and connecting together.
This is a fun activity for families, team building, you name it! This session is a flat rate of $400, see what's included below-
Here's what's included:
- Stretched canvas (up to 4x5 feet) - larger canvas experience is available for additional charge.
- Completed art work will be wired to hang and delivered within 10 miles of Temple, Texas.
- All the tools and art materials you'll need
- Aprons for the whole group
- Create in our studio space
- Expert process art guidance to create your collaborative artwork
- Leave the cleanup to us!
Every group creates a truly special, unique piece! Before you come in, we'll ask what you hope to get out of the session, and we provide the tools, materials and guidance to point you in that direction. We really just want you to bond, have fun with your people, and go home with something awesome that you made together!
