On our recent visit, we used the San Antonio CityPASS tickets to visit three of the included attractions: the San Antonio Zoo, the Go Rio River Cruise, and The DoSeum. Our CityPASS tickets turned what could have been a hectic day of planning, tickets, and logistics into a smooth, stress-free adventure for both of us.

🐯 Our Wild Morning at the San Antonio Zoo

We started our day bright and early at the San Antonio Zoo, and it did not disappoint. Between the misty walkways of the rainforest exhibit, the twinkling tunnel near the hippos, and some seriously festive fall decor, it was a beautiful spot to wander. My son loved the flamingos (and striking his best flamingo pose!), while I was all about the giraffes.

The best part? No lines or confusion at the gate. Our CityPASS mobile ticket was scanned right from my phone, and we were in within seconds.

🌊 Midday Break on the Go Rio River Cruise

After a busy morning walking the zoo, we slowed things down with the Go Rio River Cruise — the perfect mid-day reset. The gentle breeze, the shade, and the fun bits of San Antonio history shared along the way made it a relaxing and scenic way to recharge and our CityPass tickets made getting on a breeze. My 10-year-old definitely appreciated the break from walking. Learning about the historic buildings along the Riverwalk was a great bonus.

Homeschool lesson for the day? Check.

🧠 Hands-On Discovery at The DoSeum

Refreshed and ready for more, we ended our day at The DoSeum, San Antonio’s incredible children’s museum. From the spy training games to the geography exhibits and creative outdoor play areas, it was full of opportunities for imagination and learning through play. Our favorite rooms were the reading nook and the ball run. I loved watching my son light up as he explored.
